The National Alumni Association of Saint Augustine’s University, Inc. currently operates as an incorporated, not for profit corporation under Section 501(C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Affiliate local alumni chapters aligned under a regional structure comprise the body membership of the National Alumni Association.

PREAMBLE

We, the sons and daughters of Saint Augustine’s University, established and incorporated a National Alumni Association in order to articulate the aspirations of the alumni and friends of Saint Augustine’s University to form a closer union among components and define both policy and procedures for the National Alumni Association as we strive to grow and strengthen our alma mater.

ARTICLE II – MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the National Alumni Association of Saint Augustine’s University shall be to support the University in its effort to sustain a learning community in which students can prepare academically, socially, and spiritually for leadership in a complex, diverse, and rapidly changing world. To fulfill this mission, NAA shall (1) create Student recruitment opportunities for alumni and other supporters to increase and maintain enrollments; (2) promote Alumni giving and fundraising activity for student scholarships and operating funds for the University and the National Alumni Association. (3) Disseminate to alumni, supporters, and the community at large information which communicates the academic excellence of Saint Augustine’s University and foster meaningful support to the institution and its programs.
