Washington DC Metro - Veronica C. Murry-Lockamy, 1987-1990
I attended Saint Augustine's College from 1987 to 1990 (3yrs), before I transferred to a college at home. I always considered SAU my undergrad experience because this is where I had my most formative years to adulthood. I was instilled with skills I never would have obtained or been exposed to without having the experience of attending an HBCU and making life long friendships which manifested as rewarding in my life today. As an ambassador of the NAA & SAU, my hopes would be to impress upon our youth and young adults that we are a relevant, strong intelligent race of people with a strong base on whose shoulders we stand. Know your value, respect each other and uplift each other to go and do great things
